#20 at the Jewish Film Fest Opening Night Party and Movie

The Opening film, Anita, was about a woman with Downs Syndrome who lost her mother and her way when a bomb exploded in her neighborhood.  It ended well which makes me happy since I tend to shy away from sad films.  The opening party was catered and the free food (along with popcorn) provided a nice dinner.  Getting to know D during these different events has been fun, sometimes difficult and sometimes downright confusing.  He's got a playful goofiness about him which I don't always get nor respond to in a way that makes him comfortable.  I guess that's all about getting to know someone, right?

Off to the NE Social Club with the chocolate cake after the movie to celebrate Hatgirl's birthday with her good friends.  Another late night during a school week!
