About the blog:
This blog will follow the exploits of two twin city living, art loving, adventurous women who attempt to have 52 dates between them in the year 2011. This blog will be updated weekly and for those of you following the journey, we welcome feedback, opinions and may even need your assistance with finding dates, deciding who should get a second one and more! When feasible (and with permissions), we'll be adding photos of our dates and/or our activities.

Note: In no way will we use this forum to complain, bitch or degrade any of our dates. We figure that if we're inspired by you enough to ask you out and spend at least one evening with you, you have some redeeming qualities and don't deserve to be trash talked in print. The worst that can happen? We won't have a second date:)

A little about us:
Batgirl is a Gen X-er, born in California but raised in a military family. Being dragged around the world at a young age left her with a nomadic spirit which she's finally learning to tame. Putting down roots and developing strong relationships in her new hometown of Minneapolis is her 2011 goal. She's a caver who enjoys being underground as much as she likes being aboveground and is employed by a large multi-channel retailer as a marketing manager (by day).

Hatgirl, also a Gen X-er, is originally from New England and lived in the Pacific NW for many years before ending up in Minneapolis. Born of Jewish heritage, she draws sustenance from Buddism, Hedonism, and Shamanism. She's always loved making things with her hands, and enjoys writing and teaching too. She divides her time between creative endeavors and helping people to resolve their health challenges in an unconventional way.
